Welcome to Tahitian Blue Water Dream.

Join Chris O’Callaghan and Moana David onboard the 65 feet MV Cascade 400kms NE of Tahiti in the Tuamotu Atolls one of surfing’s last frontiers.

Open to both north and south swells the long even points of the Tuamotu offer a unique point break style waves in an isolated and remote region. There are over 87 Atolls(motus) in the chain, making it one of the longest underwater mountain chains in the world stretching over 1000kms end to end. The Tuamotu Atolls “passé” where the still waters of these massive lagoons meet the ocean is where you will find the long lined up point style waves of the Tuamotu.

With even take offs and predictable but exciting sections the Tuamotu offer waves to suit novices and experienced water men. The waves of the Tuamotu point breaks come in long clean lines and break with a even peeling lip. There are some heavier waves as well. Interestingly the north facing passes break mainly right and the south facing passes mainly left. Chris and Moana have been running surf charters in these waters for the last five years. In that time they have built and enormous knowledge of conditions and tides to be able to find you the very best waves on offer. More here
